That time of loving may not come again
and so I’ve saved the old loves one by one
to call back when the leaves fall down
and winter covers all the town
and now is next to nothing
compared to where I’ve been.
That time of loving may not come again
or if it does it might not be the same
the loves remembered, those that last
have caught me living in the past
for now is next to nothing
compared to where I’ve been
and that time of loving may not come again.
to call back when the leaves fall down
and winter covers all the town
and now is next to nothing
compared to where I’ve been.
That time of loving may not come again
or if it does it might not be the same
the loves remembered, those that last
have caught me living in the past
for now is next to nothing
compared to where I’ve been
and that time of loving may not come again.

Seems that the season has crawled under our skin, we can't ignore it.
That sense of loneliness that the cold make obvious and the broken heart that yet cant mend.
I am feeling this post...
Sounds Christmasy. Nice poem; nice pic.
dany you're right. 'the broken heart that can't mend.' No matter how hard we try to take away the loneliness, it will always be there to haunt me.
Christmasy? it's right around the corner too. Thanks.
time to grieve.. grieve, but the time to love will always come back, we cannot runaway from loving.. no matter how much we try.. it is our instinct.
you're right, it can come back but it won't be the same. (2nd line in 2nd par)
"Train yourself to let go of the things you fear to lose the most."
I disagree. You hold on to everything you love dearly. It takes maturity, open-mindedness, and a bit of intelligence to asses your situation.
wow! you're the first to disagree with me. but when we hold on to what we love 'dearly', when we lose it it hurts so bad, so it's better to train to let go. In that way, if we lose it, it will not hurt as much
