Inner Strength

There are times in every life
When we feel hurt or alone. . .
But. . . believe that these times
When we feel lost
and all around us seems
to be falling apart
are really bridges of growth

We struggle and try to recapture
the security of what was,
But almost in spite of ourselves. . .
We emerge on the other side
with a new understanding,
a new awareness,
a new strength.

It is almost as though
we must go through the pain
and the struggle
in order to grow
and reach new heights.

No pain no gain.. thats what i've learnet... everything we want or desire we can achieve but most of the time we go through a lot of things to get it.. and we always get hurt... but thats just a part of life...

Know what sucks about life? At any age, it's all a constant struggle. Fun is only temporary. Not cool I know, but amidst all the chaos, we find ourselves in constant search of happiness. This is a good thing.

a correction judz: some things we want, not everything we want.

that's right. through whatever happens, each time we find out some new things about ourselves. What I like the most is being able to change whatever it was that didn't make us happy. It makes it a little better for the situations that we will go through in the future.

There is a song that says, 'thanks to whoever made you become who you are today'.

This is a very hard topic to conclude on because we all have experienced different things. Somethings costing more pain than the others... Try not to focus on what cost you pain but rather on all the happiness that you have in your life and be thankful for it....

I like your blog, sorry i haven't been visiting as much. I will be back...

Thanks Dan, I will try to keep that in mind, but sometimes the things that hurt are the things that are hard to forget, especially if it is about something that had so much meaning in people's lives. Most of the time it seems that there is more pain than happiness, but it is not so.
